Dark Spot From Lcd Tv Black Spot Near Top Of TV?

I have a small problem ... I have a Memorex 32 "LCD TV 1080i, which is about 6 months and only saw a dark black spot at the top of the image. From what I can tell, you are dead pixels, because it disappears in the actual image the edges. Nothing has been spilled on or have been hit or beaten. Additionally, you can not tell from the photo, just above the black dot is a small patch of the "clear zone" where you can see some pictures. As a Type "U". no idea what could be causing this, or better yet, how to fix?
